KaZaA [3.2.5] Sharman Networks
KazaA est une application d'échange de documents sur Internet sur le mode. Ainsi, point commun avec Gnutella, ce système de partage de fichiers en temps réel ne nécessite pas de serveur centralisateur. Sur le réseau chaque ordinateur sert de serveur pour les autres. Pour optimiser la vitesse du trafic sur le réseau KaZaA, seuls les utilisateurs qui disposent d’une bande passante suffisante font office de serveurs, ou selon la terminologie officielle de "SuperNodes".
Ce très populaire logiciel de partage de fichiers prend en charge la téléphonie IP. Il intègre en effet le logiciel Skype qui permet de passer des coups de fil de sa machine vers un autre ordinateur ou une ligne fixe. Son éditeur Sharman Networks le garantit sans logiciel espion ("spyware").
Qu’est-ce que vous installez avec Kazaa en version gratuite :
- Kazaa Media Desktop : application principale qui vous permet de chercher, télécharger et partager des fichiers.
- Meilleure Recherche : affiche les fichiers authentiques et de meilleurs qualité (identifiés avec les Icônes de couleur Or dans les résultats de la recherche). Développée par Altnet.
- Gestionnaire de points avec Altnet : c'est une récompense pour partager des fichiers marqués avec les Icônes en couleur de l'or. Sont inclus la barre d’outils de ‘Ma Recherche’, Joltid P2P Gestion de réseau & les composants des points liés au partage avec Altnet.
- BullGuard P2P qui fournit la protection Anti-Virus lorsque vous utilisez ‘Kazaa Media Desktop’.
- La publicité envoyée par ‘Cydoor’ et le réseau ‘GAIN’.
- PerfectNav : vous donne de nouveaux résultats de recherche lorsque vous naviguez.
Kazaa est un logiciel gratuit grâce aux:
- Fichiers partagés payants : fichiers digitalement certifiés (identifiés avec les Icônes de couleur de Or ).
- Ventes de produits et services : par exemple les versions complètes de BullGuard, MatchNet, etc
Autres caractéristiques :
- possibilité d’effectuer plusieurs recherches simultanément
- débuter un téléchargement en un seul clic (avec un bouton prédéfini)
- affiche de nouvelles informations relatives aux fichiers proposées (par exemple affiche la date du fichier à télécharger)
- intègre un support pour les liens "Magnet". Ces liens déjà supporté par d'autres logiciels comme eDonkey, s'intègrent à une page Web et permettent de lancer automatiquement avec KaZaA des téléchargements de fichiers bien précis.
- offre une fonction "Kapsules" qui permettra de proposer et même de vendre une collection de un ou plusieurs fichiers. Selon Sharman Networks cette fonction permettra aussi bien aux amateurs, qu'aux professionnels de vendre leurs productions sur Internet sans avoir à se soucier des problèmes de bande passante.
- Nouveaux canaux dont "Ringtone Channel" pour les utilisateurs de téléphone mobile et "Emerging Artist Channel" pours les amoureux de musique.
- BullGuard P2P, un anti-virus
- etc.
Note : lors de l'installation de la version de démonstration KaZaA propose des logiciels annexes, plus ou moins douteux (Hotbar, Gator et autres spywares)... En effet ces applications peuvent mémoriser vos habitudes de navigation, délivrer des messages publicitaires, collecter des informations privées ou modifier vos options système. Prenez bien soin de cocher les bonnes options lors de l'installation et de lire la licence d'agrément. Sachez que la version payante annihile toutes ces applications additives. Vous pouvez également disposer sur notre site d'une version légèrement modifiée qui s'appelle KaZaA Lite, qui ne contient pas ces logiciels espions.
